This personal protective equipment device is a disposable 5-layer non-woven fabric half-mask designed to protect the airways against solid and liquid aerosols, solid (dust) and liquid (mist) particles in concentrations up to 10 times the TLV; ability to resist non-toxic, non-harmful and non-irritating odours. The model of the half-mask described is valve-less.

This half-mask is a category III Personal Protective Equipment in compliance with Annex I of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/425. It meets the requirements of the harmonised standard “EN 149:2001+A1:2009 – Respiratory protective devices — Filtering half-masks to protect against particles — Requirements, testing, marking". Based on the half-mask standard, it is a Category III PPE.
